New Prague is a progressive, small town founded in 1856. We are rich in Czech, Bavarian and Bohemian culture, with a thriving business and agricultural community.

Located just 45 miles southwest of the Twin Cities, New Prague is an attractive, growing community. New Prague has the small town sense of community with the business and services often only found in large metropolitan areas.

The holidays are just around the corner. Be sure to SHOP LOCAL this holiday season! Join us for the Holiday Parade of Lights and Skate with Santa. If you're interested in being a parade participant, fill out a registration form and simply send it back to the Chamber office.

Join us the third weekend each September for our Do�ínky® Czech Fall Harvest Festival. Friday night kicks off with the Annual Car Cruise at 6:30 PM; followed by a dance in the Chamber Beer Garden. Food booths and entertainment begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, with the Parade of Farm Pride at Noon! Festivities continue until 5:00 PM on Saturday evening.

Join us May 8, 2010 for the 25th Annual New Prague Half Marathon and 5K.
